Maria Aishwarya Bosco is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Sociology, Stella Maris College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She is also a Doctoral Research Scholar at the Department of Sociology, CHRIST (Deemed-to-be) University, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Her research interests are Sociology of Work, Gender and Development. She is also a Guest Contributor at Applied Worldwide, (Sociology Research Blog, USA).
