Maria Aishwarya.B is a Senior Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Sociology at Stella Maris College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She holds M.A (Sociology); MBA (HRM) ; PG (Diploma in Criminology & Forensic Science); SET (Sociology) ; NET (Sociology). She is also pursuing a PhD in the area Sociology of Work.

She has served as an Advisory Board Member for ASSCOD (Association for Sustainable Community Development), Non-Governmental Organization, Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu.

She serves as a Peer-Reviewer for several reputed SCOPUS indexed journals affliated to ELSEVIER, SPRINGER NATURE & Emerald.

She also offers research supervision for independent research projects to Post Graduates and Under Graduate students in Sociological research faciliated by Konnifel research department.

She is also the Guest Writer and Peer-Reviewer for Applied Worldwide, International Peer-Reviewed Sociology Digital Platform for Sociologial Research
